Beer Description
Hoppy Lager Featuring the Hops Motueka, Pacific Sunrise, Nelson Sauvin, & Riwaka In a land where the lush emerald hills meet the crystal clear waters of pristine streams, where nature’s beauty whispers through the breeze, a beer is born that captures the essence of this untouched paradise. Introducing NZ Pils, a light and crispy bevy where New Zealand’s finest hops dance and shine in a glass!🍻 We brewed this tasty golden lager with a foundation of premium pilsner malt and sprinkled a glorious blend of @hoprevolution NZ hops in the mash, at first wort collection, towards the end of the boil, and again in the whirlpool. After a cool fermentation with a kellerbier lager yeast strain, NZ Pils was dry hopped with a blend of Motueka, Pacific Sunrise, Nelson Sauvin, and Riwaka. These hops, like rare gems plucked from the heart of Aotearoa, bring life to a beer that’s as vibrant and diverse as the breathtaking landscapes of New Zealand. The light body of NZ Pils mirrors the airy exhilaration of traversing the Southern Alps while it’s moderate but firm bitterness unfolds like the thrill of riding the rolling surf along the coastline. It’s in the finish where NZ Pils truly shines. As you savor your first few effervescent gulps, a crisp, snappy, finale leaves you yearning for another swig. It’s like the Kiwi summer, where the days stretch long and the evenings fade gently into starlit perfection, promising endless moments of refreshment and delight. We get notes of delicate bready pilsner malt sweetness, juicy white grape, mojito lime mist, spicy green pepper, zesty lemon, earthy hay, bright clementine, tropical kumquat, and lychee.
