Beer Description
For The Halford’s 7 year anniversary party, we decided to brew up an IPA with our good friend Derek Kempinsky in mind. If you’ve ever been to The Halford over in Santa Clara, then you’re probably familiar with Derek and his love of beer. We know that his two favorite hops are Nelson & Strata, so that was a given. And of course we had to double dry-hop it. Then we used some of the best and freshest malt around from Admiral Maltings, Gallagher’s Best Pale. The result is an explosion of flavor. We’re very happy with how this beer turned out and we’re pretty sure that Derek will enjoy it too. We hope that very soon we can enjoy A Beer With Derek IPA with Mr. Derek Kempinsky himself. We’re sure you do too.
