Funkwerks recently debuted its latest take on the Belgian-style ale. Based on their flagship Saison, they crafted up an even more refreshing and lower gravity rendition, while retaining the full flavor. Malted wheat was introduced to create a rounder mouthfeel, while more dry-hopping produced a thrilling citrusy and floral aroma. Flavors include nots of fruity ester and lemon verbena, alongside hints of spice and a refreshing tartness, leading to a dry finish. Clocking in at just 5% ABV, this brew is definitely sessionable.
