Grab a pint of kellerpils and enjoy dry tones of honey laden sourdough, mild bouquets of wildflowers and a soft minerality that pairs perfectly with a masterfully slow cooked plate of barbecue.
These are the stories that bring humanity to this wayward world. The histories of our crop, ready for reaping; it surges through our veins. For we are nothing without our forebearers. In celebration of the opening of their whole hog barbecue restaurant in downtown Raleigh, we teamed up with @longleafswinebbq to create a classic kellerpils to accompany their unparalleled foods. Artful additions of German grown Hallertauer Herbrucker hops were laid upon base of three pilsner malts from North Carolina maltsters @epiphanycraftmalt and @riverbendmalt to produce a highly drinkable lager that was then briefly cold aged in our oak foudre. Grab a pint of kellerpils and enjoy dry tones of honey laden sourdough, mild bouquets of wildflowers and a soft minerality that pairs perfectly with a masterfully slow cooked plate of barbecue.
