Beer Description
Restrained roasty flavors as not to be too stout like, but rather an emphasis on malt derived piquancy ranging from rich toffee to dark fruit and spiced chocolate. As this lager ages, mellowing notes of deep plum or even sherry-like flavors develop.
A complex high alcohol dark lager originally brewed throughout the Nordic land in response to their love of English Porters. One big difference – they were all lager brewers. As with tradition our Baltic Porter also undergoes a long cold lagering phase inside one of our stainless-steel tanks. You’ll notice restrained roasty flavors as not to be too stout like, but rather an emphasis on malt derived piquancy ranging from rich toffee to dark fruit and spiced chocolate. As this lager ages, mellowing notes of deep plum or even sherry-like flavors develop.
