Beer Description
Dignowity Common (pronounced “Din-wit-e”) is brewed with lager yeast and fermented at ale fermentation temperatures. It’s a light amber hybrid style unique to the US that dates back to the late 1800’s in California when refrigeration was a luxury item. Brewers at the time needed to improvise by using shallow fermenters to get the yeast to ferment faster.
