Fieldwork Leafy & Green

Our West Coast Lagers are a hodgepodge Lager style that dates back to our earliest of years brewing, where we would take a classic American Lager or Light Lager grain bill, throw in classic European Lager hops in the kettle for a traditional flavor addition, but then finish the beer off with a massive dry-hopping of Pacific Northwest hops. This process creates a Lager that is beyond refreshing and crisp with all of the classic Lager flavors you would expect; however, the aroma bombards the senses, tickling nostrils with the best of the West Coast but finishing with supreme effervescence and chuggability that would be impossible to find in an IPA. For Leafy & Green, we went with Simcoe hops, a staple of West Coast IPAs since day one, and loaded with complex aromas of passion fruit, white grapefruit, yuzu blossom, pine needles, and fresh nectarines that pair perfectly with this beer’s bubbly person and mildly grassy and floral flavor profile.
