SECOND NARROWS
MIXED CULTURE SAISON W/ FRUITS
8.0%
The Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrows Crossing in North Vancouver stands as a truly monumental and significant structure in the history of ironworking. We wanted to honor not only its architectural and construction prowess but also recognize the tragic events that occurred during its creation and the enduring legacy it represents.
To commemorate this iconic bridge, we crafted a blended mixed-culture Saison-inspired beer. This unique brew is a harmonious blend of two, three, and four-year-old barrel-aged stocks, enhanced with a medley of raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and elderberries. The result is a sensory delight, boasting aromas reminiscent of freshly made field berry jam, enlivened by a bright acidity and a subtle touch of funk. Its captivating color foreshadows a tasting experience that unfolds with layers of fruit jam, confit fruits, and classic farmhouse character.
