Barrel Aged Sour Ale with Cherry, Pineapple, Coconut, Orange Zest and Nutmeg

Blur the line between friends and enemies. In collaboration with our friends Nightcrawler, we crafted this tropical cherry sour using our gold base conditioned on second-use cherries. Heaps of coconut, orange zest, dried pineapple, and spices were added to accentuate the fruit punch notes of this fruit-forward beverage. Nightcrawler is a cocktail popup started last year that aims to curate a playful cocktail experience with a classy edge. Comprised of just two individuals, their vast array of offerings demonstrate an acute knowledge of the the craft without taking themselves too seriously. We wanted to create something approachable, fun, and nuanced to pay homage to their incredible cocktail program. The sour base is punchy and complements the notes of spiced oranges and berry sherbet. Think piles of gummy worms and fresh baked cherry tarts.
