Beer Description

Hop resins and aromas of rio red grapefruit wedges, candied pomelo, passion fruit, gooseberries, Chenin blanc wine grapes, strawberries, blue diesel nugs, pine sap, and hints of wild berries.

After many years of pushing Westcoast IPA like someone with chicken legs in a strongman competition, we are finally getting to revel in the return of the dry, crushable, and bitter laser-beam of hop perfection that is the Westcoast IPA. To celebrate its return to prominence and adoration, we put together what we think is the perfect amalgamation of classic Westcoast with new school hops and hopping techniques. Westcoast Slang gets inundated with hops from the middle of its boil through the whirlpool and again with a ridiculous double dry-hopping of Mosaic, Nelson, Simcoe, and Strata hops in all forms available to us. The goal is to produce a beer that melds the Westcoast hops of yore with the newest killer hops being grown in a package that is absolutely saturated with hop resins and aromas of rio red grapefruit wedges, candied pomelo, passion fruit, gooseberries, Chenin blanc wine grapes, strawberries, blue diesel nugs, pine sap, and hints of wild berries.
