Beer Description
Nearly three years ago, we sat down with the amazing Modern Times team and developed a special recipe that blended their barleywine grist bill with our Medianoche grist bill, 30/70. The result? One of the most unique imperial stouts we have ever barrel-aged. To keep the creativity rolling, we then exchanged three different adjuncts in a sealed envelope, with the promise not to open until the beer was readyโโ32 months in six-year-old Fitzgerald bourbon barrels to be exact. Upon opening our envelope, we were thrilled to see that our friends selected banana, pecan, and cinnamon adjuncts, which we delivered by resting the aged liquid on wild Thai bananas, toasted pecans, and Vietnamese cinnamon
