Beer Description
This brew is a an easy drinking dark ale featuring cocoa flavors and aromas, roasted malts and a hints of vanilla and bourbon in the finish. Organic cocoa was added in the kettle, then cocoa nibs and vanilla beans were added to the fermenter to give this beer a silky body and chocolate flavor. A small portion of the beer was aged briefly in a bourbon barrel and then blended back into the batch to add a very subtle flavor of bourbon in the finish. English roasted chocolate and kilned brown malts give this dark brown porter a rich but restrained roasted malt character and a medium body.
