Bottle conditioned and bone dry with plenty of tannin, both naturally from the apple and the oak barrel. Starblossom has balanced acidity and a surprisingly smooth finish. Be on the look out for hints of orange pith, can you taste it? can you smell it? This cider’s primary varieties are Brown’s Apple, Nehou, Brown Snout, Michelin, Kingston Black, Ellis Bitter and a mix of bittersweets and heirlooms to finish out the blend. The apples in this cider came from our Burdett orchard and One of a Kind Orchard in Lansing. Starblossom pairs well with grilled chicken or seafood, roasted vegetables in olive oil and garlic, or simply with a rustic loaf of beautiful bread, cheese, and olives.
