Beer Description
Flanders Style ales are balanced beers with a tart flavor from natural souring, complemented by a sweet grist and rich caramel malts that give a reddish-brown hue and drinkability. Fermentation in wooden vessels adds fruit-forward notes, enhancing their pleasant sweetness while balancing oak dryness, vanilla, and citrus sourness. Historically, farmers traded fruit with brewers, which led us to add hundreds of pounds of cherries to enrich the balanced, fruity finish. Enjoy this unique style that’s been brewed for 200 years.
