Beer Description
Foeder Aged Brett Lager, 4.7% Collab w/ @burialbeer
A bright, pale spring lager that is a year in the making with undertones of a zesty brett saison. Immersed with notes of lime, dark berry, sumac, and musky guava all while drinking with an easy light and lean lager finish. Made in collaboration with our friends from Asheville, Burial Beer Co., in March of 2024. Brewed with Texas grown pilsner and red wheat with AU Enigma hops and a touch of Sumac. Fermented cold & slow with a legendary German lager yeast and then transferred to an oak foeder with a fun brettanomyces yeast culture and left to develop for 10 months. Just before packaging we hit it with a sensible dry hop of NZ Wakatu and US Exp 1019. Bright, vibrant, playful, intricate, easy to finish.
