Beer Description
Lupulin Reserves was created with help from Spencer Roach, an Even More Holydog Hot Dog Eating competition winner. Spencer visited us on-site for a brew day and chose a TIPA for his creation. With his background in actuarial science and risk assessment and love for super hoppy beers, we shed some light on Lupulin, the sticky, oil substance found in hops that gives beers their flavor and aromas, and checked out the reserves on our latest TIPA.
Lupulin Reserves starts out with a 2-row grain bill and a Citra Lupomax whirlpool before a large dose of Citra, Citra Lupomax, Strata, and Galaxy dry hop.
Lupulin Reserves has aromas of pulpy OJ, crushed hops, and Ruby Red grapefruit with flavors of mandarin oranges in syrup, dank guava, and fruit cocktail in a chewy body and a honeydew melon #EQjuice note, all wrapped up in a dangerously drinkable finish making the math on this one check out!
