Wayward Lane + West Kill Sugar Weather

This toasty blonde base features a mash of 2-row and silky oats for a smooth body, with a kiss of crystal malt. We whirlpooled it over 20 lbs. of toasted maple bark harvested right behind the brewery, then dosed in buckets of maple syrup toward the end of fermentation and conditioned it on Indonesian vanilla beans. The result? A maple bomb that’s slightly sweet and dessert-like but finishes dry and quaffable, with subtle tannins from the maple bark.
