Beer Description
“Kalmia” is the Genus which represents our state’s flower – the Mountain-Laurel. This elegant farmhouse ale retains a high level of carbonation which helps elevate the abundance of esters/phenols produced during fermentation. This fine ale creates a semblance of peppercorn, pear, and gingersnap notes which are harnessed by a subtle herbal/earthy bitterness from Hallertau and Saaz hops.
