Beer Description
Our first take on the Cold IPA style, Cold Gold is an exploration in modern West Coast IPA brewing. Light gold in color from Pilsner and wheat malt with an extremely light and crisp body from a hefty addition of flaked rice in the grist. Hop aromatics shine bright, conjuring spicy mango, passion fruit, and lemongrass. Savory flavors reminiscent of Sauvignon Blanc grapes, fruity pebbles, and grapefruit. Dangerously drinkable for it’s 7.2% ABV with a crisp and clean finish. Kettle, whirlpool and dry hopped with Zappa, Zeus, Centennial and Hallertau Blanc
