Beer Description
Moody, mercurial and full of intrigue, Vienna has given us classic spy tales, brilliant music and architecture, and a rich cultural life. The so-called “City of Dreams” is also the birthplace of the smooth, toasty and crisp Vienna Lager.
A relatively “new” entry in the brewing canon, developed in 1841, this easy-drinking beer is a great match for crisp Fall weather. Our version starts with Vienna Malt, Carared and roasted barley, which deliver a coppery red color and notes of caramel and honey. Noble hops Hallertauer Mlttelrfrueh and Saaz supply earthiness and a bit of spice in a classic malt-forward
