“Community Connect” Series
Goal: Replace high-cost, high-risk festivals with hyper-local, high-yield partnerships.
The “Why”
Traditional large festivals are failing due to “diminishing returns.” Massive overhead (security, fencing, insurance) eats 50-70% of revenue, while long travel distances cause brewery burnout. We need a model that is weather-proof, local, and repeatable.
The “What”
We will host smaller events anchored by existing community activities (5Ks, music fests, or food truck rallies).
The Venue: Local parks or downtown streets (low overhead).
The Shared Pie: Revenue sharing includes all beer sales, food truck fees, and tickets.
The “Who”
The ABG: Provides ticketing tech and marketing templates.
The Brewery: Supplies beer locally (no long-haul travel).
The Partner: Manages the “anchor” activity and volunteer labor.
The Strategic Win: Allied Membership
To unlock revenue sharing, the partner organization must sign on as an ABG Allied Member. This converts one-off partners into long-term, dues-paying supporters, creating a sustainable new revenue stream for the Guild.
