Poaka Pils: A New Zealand Journey
We couldn’t resist diving into New Zealand’s incredible hop scene, so we crafted this crisp pilsner to showcase what makes their hops so unique. Poaka means ‘pig’ in Maori, making this our international cousin with serious hop character. We loaded it up with Motueka, Riwaka, and Nelson Sauvin both in the brew and dry-hop, bringing out those signature Kiwi flavors of lime zest, white wine grapes, and tropical passionfruit. It’s clean, refreshing, and packed with the kind of hop aromatics that make New Zealand hops so special.
