Beer Description
A Berliner Weisse brewed with old world traditional methods. Brewed with equal part wheat and pilsner malt. Fermented in an oak feeder tank with mixed culture of yeast including a German ale yeast, two brettanomyces yeast strains, and a lactobacillus bacteria culture from Mexico. Aged for 9 months in oak with fresh squeezed satsuma and mango. This Berliner Weisse is dry, with a bright lactic effervescence. Tart citrus character, a touch of funk, dry tannin, and a zippy soda like bubble on the mouth.
