Beer Description
Our interpretation of this historical style was brewed with a double mash and extended decoction with a hefty dose of Munich malt and a pinch of Beech Wood smoked barley malt. Then we naturally soured it by steeping German wheat in the wort and cofermented with lager and ale yeasts!
The end result is mildly tart with notes of figs and dark grapes, caramel and toffee with the slightest hint of smoke.
