Beer Description
A blend of barrel aged imperial stout, consisting of 3, 2, and 1 year old stout, aged in maple bourbon barrels before being vanilla beans, maple syrup, and coffee are added. Taking from the Gueze style of blending old stock with medium and younger ages of the same base beer to impart different aspects/benefits from their unique age, this draws on the richness of the older aged base beer as well as the brighter more bourbon and maple forward aspects of the younger barrels to balance each other out.
