Beer Description
This beer is named for the world famous big wave surfing site, Nelscott Reef, which is about a mile north and a mile out to sea from our brewery. The name “reefer” called for a bit of hemp seed in the mash, which imparts a nutty flavor on the back of the pallet, and we added a touch of smoked malt to make you think of a day on the beach with a driftwood fire.
