Beer Description
Peliweisse was brewed with wheat and two row with the wheat making up 35% of the malt bill. It was inoculated with Lactobacillus in the fermenter and was followed by saccaromyces to complete the fermentation. Lactobacillus is the same bacteria used in yogurt production and is responsible for producing acid. The aroma is lemony, sour, and slightly bready. The taste is refreshingly tart and tangy, with a lemony- citrusy fruity sharpness & no discernable hop bitterness.
