Beer Description
Pours a hazy, opaque, orange brown with only some sparce clumps of large bubbles around the edge. The bubbles settle to a tight halo without depositing any lace.
Aromas of sweet fruit, slightly reminiscent of plums and pear, with sugar and vague toasted grains. It really opens up nicely as it warms.
Flavors are rich, sweet and malty. Raisins, caramel, toffee, leather, earth, fruit peel/skins, cereal malts, toast and a subtle nip of booze. Drinks much smoother than the alcohol bill might imply. There are flavors going on that I can pin down but ultimately this is delicious.
