“Sweet!” he declared.
“Not really,” she replied. “It finishes quite dry.” She tossed her blonde hair. He knew she was only beginning to expound and, as usual, he hung on her every word.
“It smells like pears to me,” she said. “With an edge. I like how it’s a little sweet at first, and spicy, then it finishes with a touch of bitterness from the hops.” She paused. “Pretty, yet complex.”
