Beer Description
This is a classic rendition of a lower strength Scottish pub style beer (Scottish Export or 80 Shilling). Designed to be malt forward and easy drinking, this beer is made with English Marris Otter as a base with additions of Crystal 15, Crystal 60, Honey Malt and Roasted Barley and is very lightly hopped with the English Fuggles hop variety. Fermented low and slow, this beer showcases the malt profile and contains little to no yeast derived esters or phenols.
