Beer Description

Biere de Garde matured in oak barrels, mixture of 11 barrels of 225 litters: 6 Pinot Noir, 2 Chardonnay and 1 Pinot Gris de Neuchatel, 2 Merlot du Tessin. L’Abbaye de Saint Bon-Chien, Strong sour ale, 11% vol. is a real UFO, is a beer brewed in honor of the former brewery cat, sanctified in her disappearance. This vintage shimmering red-amber is matured for months in oak barrels that previously contained wine or eau-de-vie. The barrels give a very complex flavor to this beer. In the mouth, she recalls the plot of a fruity red wine with a very sharp acidity. Barrel: Pedro Ximenez Sherry. Maturation Time: 18 months.
