Beer Description
Traditionally served in small (wee) measures, the style remains as one of Scotland’s most distinctive ales.
Originating in 18th century Scotland where local hops were nonexistent, a type of Scotch Ale known as “Wee Heavy” developed as a robust beer with a malt-forward character. Like the Killer Rabbit guarding the Cave of Caerbannog, our wee heavy looks harmless, but this beer’s dynamite. Now go and change your armor.
