Beer Description
We had the boys from Amager Bryghus in Denmark come by to make this one with us. The base beer is a pilsner, but we loaded it full of rye malt as well. Over 25% rye, this beer packs a spicy wallop associated with that grain. The hop bill was then weighted heavily toward American hops to create the piney, citrusy character you will get in the nose and flavor of this beer. Lager yeast was then employed to get a crisp, dry finish that really emphasizes the rye and hop characters that are the features. When a manโs got beer in his belly, he begins to appreciate peace.
