Beer Description
Almost every beer theme has variations and Oatmeal Stout is a fine one at that. Oatmeal as a grain adds a complex silky quality to brews as well as opacity (when used in large doses) and a bit of its own natural flavor as well. Our Oatmeal Stout takes a lot of cues from the multiple dimensions Stout can take with Oatmeal providing some body, texture, and spice. Its hopped with Cascade and Colombus and we use brown malt and some roasted malts which in conjunction give a slight fruit quality to the nose.
