Beer Description
Traditionally, Saison was brewed in the winter to provide sustenance to migrant workers who traveled to France and Belgium to work in the fields in the spring and summer. The Boom Island version is blond in color, 6.7% ABV, and incorporates the use of spices. We use organge peel and a bit of fresh ginger to balance the citrus with a touch of spiciness. Saison is only available on draught.
