Beer Description
The third installment in our Location Series, our Eagle Cap Lager is decoction mashed for extra fat maltiness balanced with a firm hop bitterness, and carefully lagered for a smooth, crisp, malty beer. Aged in rum and rye whiskey barrels provided by our friends at Stein Distillery (Joseph,OR) with Candy Cap mushrooms for an earthy, maple syrup-like richness and complex barrel character. As unique and varied as its namesake, the Eagle Cap is one to be celebrated.
