Beer Description
Both the American and French oak wood added some slight tannic astringency that carried to and past the finish, as well as a small, small hint of vanilla. Both seemed to faintly mute the hops, allowed a bit more sweetness, but, then again, the base beer had a fair amount of sweetness to it to begin with. And, well, the acasia doesn’t bring anything really different to the table beyond a low note of pepper.
