Beer Description
It is medium-light in body, smooth, crisp, clear and pale straw in color with a fleeting white head.
Inspired by the German Kölsch style that originated in Cologne in the late 1800s, our Foundation Series Kölsch exhibits a precisely balanced flavor and aroma, comprised of a delicate mix of low malt, pleasant, subtle fruit notes from fermentation, and low hop bitterness.This subdued maltiness leads to a dry, slightly crisp finish with no bitter aftertaste. Overall a clean, delicately-balanced beer with very subtle malt, fruit, and hop characters that lead to a mild, pleasant, refreshing finish.
