Beer Description
Our first offering is a blend of five ales, four that were aged in bourbon barrels. It has a dark mahogany color with lovely brown foam. It is full of complex aromas as each beer crowds its way to the front. Initial bourbon aromas are followed by vanilla and oak and then caramel from the Aegir Barley wine. Descend Black IPA lends a hint of citrus hops while the Niflheim Imperial Stout and BBB Imperial Brown provide roasted and nutty aromas. Crowded has a huge body, a bit of sweetness and a pronounced spicy hop finish. It has the perfect amount of oak and bourbon flavors to add to the complexity yet not overpower the beer. This beer is perfectly suited for enjoying fresh or cellaring to allow the flavors develop over time.
