About the brewery
As one of the oldest Microbreweries in America, we are Michigan’s Original Craft Brewery! We have been offering award winning Ales & Lagers since 1862! Located in historic downtown Frankenmuth, our Gold Medal Taproom and retail space offer a variety of craft beers for you to enjoy with us or take home. In addition to both beer and wine flights, the taproom also offers craft cocktails with house-made syrups. All of our drinks are complimented by an inspired craft-centric menu. Throughout the year, we rotate our draft lineup to highlight a unique variety of different styles of craft beer brewed fresh onsite. The Gold Medal Taproom is open year round; outdoor patio seating overlooking the Cass River is available seasonally.
