About the brewery
Glacier BrewHouse, established 1996, is an upscale brewpub located in the heart of downtown Anchorage, Alaska. The brewery is a 15bbl single infusion mash system and constantly ranks in the top ten (out of about 1000) in the United States for brewpub beer production. The brewery specializes in English and American West Coast style beers along with an elaborate oak aging program. In 2011, the brewery produced over 4000 barrels of draft only – with half being served on premise and half sold to the Odom Corporation for distribution throughout Alaska and Washington.
