About the brewery
The Big Bear Mountain Brewery, established in 1996 by Don and Lil Wittman when they parked their Harleys and classic cars and set out for a new adventure in Big Bear, is truly one of a kind. Beer brewing began as a hobby that grew into a prospering business offering a wide selection of very distinctive micro-brewed beers.
The beer is brewed on site by brewmaster Don, and the Big Bear Mountain Brewery offers an ever-changing seasonal brew lineup highlighting at least six homebrews each season that depict events in the Big Bear Valley.
