Outstanding hoppy beer using Pilgrim and Styrian Goldings for full-flavoured satisfaction. Good body and luscious aroma. Inspired by the statues of water nymphs in York House gardens in Twickenham, known locally as the "Naked Ladies". -
Twickenham Fine Original
Ordinary Bitter · 4.2% ABV
A ruby coloured, malty best bitter. Maris Otter pale malt combined with crystal malt, caramalt, and a touch of chocolate malt gives this lush, malty ale a reddish brown hue. A light touch with Pilgrim, Mount Hood and Bramling Cross hops
About the brewery
Twickenham Fine Ales was opened in late September 2004. Situated just north of Twickenham Green, we are now brewing over 100 firkins (nine-gallon casks) of cask-conditioned “real ale” per week. The ten-barrel traditional brewery equipment was purchased from Springhead Brewery in Nottinghamshire who were moving up to a larger plant.
