Maison Sassy*

As friends for more than 20 years, Pierre-Emmanuel and Xavier grew up together in Normandy. As proud sons of Normandy they had the ambition to modernise their beloved cidre, the first alcoholic drink anyone from the region tastes. Driven by the desire to create a high quality, hand-crafted, French product and with the aspiration to use traditional methods but with a modern twist, they set out to create Maison SASSY. A decisively modern version of the classic Normandy cidre which was once neglected despite its numerous qualities ; Gluten-free, 100 % natural and the least calorific alcoholic drink available – it has less than 50 calories for a single glass of 15cl). Helped by a cellar master with well-known expertise, Pierre-emmanuel and Xavier developed their project for more than a year. Their work resulted in the launch of Sassy, the first contemporary cider brand “Made in Normandy”.
