Dark amber with a big head. The aroma is fruity with some spice. The flavor has a lot of fruit with the spice too and a little bread.
About the brewery
The monastery was founded in 1293 by Bishop Bernard (Wernhart) of Prambach and 1295 by Cistercian monks settled. As a subsidiary of Abbey Wilhering it was a thing of the filiation of the Abbey Primary Morimond. Engelszell, the only Trappist monastery in Austria, was founded in 1293 and has a very colorful history.
