About the brewery
El Gaito is a Spanish producer of cider and other products, located in Villaviciosa. The origin of the company dates back to the nineteenth century, when the growing demand for cider makes local bourgeois traders Villaviciosa begin exporting the production to the Spanish colonies and America. In 1888 Alberto del Valle acquires French machinery for the carbonation process of cider, which is a boost for the local industry.
