About this Event

This self-proclaimed die-hard craft beer revolutionary is known for his experimental ciders bearing traces of beer yeasts, wild fermentations, Belgian ale spices, aromatic West Coast hops and local fruit juices.

Not currently distributing in NYC, Nat from Reverend Nat’s Hard Cider will be paying us a special visit this evening to offer tastes of the following ciders:

Revival Hard Apple
- Blend of Washington-grown apples and piloncillo, dark brown evaporated cane juice from Michoacan, Mexico. Fermented all the way to dry using two exotic yeast strains: a beer yeast known for the round mouthfeel in saisons, and a rarely-used secret culture which produces aromas of pineapple, guava and peaches.

Hallelujah Hopricot
- Starts off as a Belgian wit-style cider steeped with coriander, bitter orange peel and paradise grains, fermented with a Belgian saison ale yeast. Apricot juice is added, and finished with Oregon-grown Cascade and Amarillo hops.

Deliverance Ginger Tonic
- Cider with ginger juice, hundreds of hand-cut fresh lemongrass stalks, the fresh-squeezed juice and zest of thousands of limes. Topped off with hand-extracted quinine from the bark of the Peruvian cinchona tree.

Tepache
- Made with pineapples sourced from Nat’s second cousin’s plantation in Costa Rica, with piloncillo from Michoacan and a furtive selection of spices. This ain’t no cider at all!

All (21+) are welcome to this free event.
