Black Friday 2017 at The Open Bottle

The darkest day of the year is upon us… again! We’ve been busy preparing for an even bigger, better, greater Black Friday. In addition to releasing Goose Island’s most anticipated beer of the year, we will have special tappings, lightning deals, and more! Read below for all the details.

Not buying BCBS bottles? Take advantage of our special hours (we open at 7am), grab a morning beer on draft!

☆ BOURBON COUNTY 2017 BOTTLE RELEASE ☆
We will be receiving all 2017 BCBS variants and releasing bottles when our shop opens at 7am. The first 100 people in line will get a FREE Goose Island Sofie mimosa and Bourbon County bacon donuts form our friends Doughs Guys Bakery!

Allocations will be determined when the line is counted between 6:00 and 6:15am. We will do our best to allocate bottles accordingly without spreading allocations too thin.

Once the line is counted, you will be given a wristband which guarantees you an allotment. You will be led through the front door to the back of the shop to purchase bottles after showing us your wristband. Bottles must be purchased when received and cannot be added to any tabs or opened in store.

We know that many of you will arrive early. We suggest dressing appropriately for the potentially harsh November weather. Because we don’t open until 7am, a public portapotty will be located at the back of the shop all night/morning.

☆ LIGHTNING DEALS ☆
Every hour starting at 8am we will spin a spinwheel that offers lightning specials for that hour. It’s loaded with some cool prizes including tapping a specialty beer, 50% off draft for the hour, high fives, and more awesome things! The spin wheel will be updated as the day goes on and more options will be added!
