About this Event

Kane Brewing Company

Join u as we tap 11 beers from one of NJ’s best.

1) Head High – IPA, 6.6%
Head High is our interpretation of an American-style India Pale Ale (IPA). This beer is all about the hops; we use a blend of five different varieties all grown in the Pacific Northwest. A small charge of Chinook and Columbus early in the boil adds a smooth bitterness. A majority of the hops are then added late in the kettle or post-fermentation to produce a beer that is heavy on hop flavor and aroma. The combination of Cascade, Centennial, Citra and Columbus give Head High a noticeable grapefruit flavor with aromas of citrus, tropical fruits and pine. Our house American ale yeast ferments to a dry finish that accentuates the use of imported Pilsner and lightly kilned crystal malt resulting in Head High’s straw color and crisp flavor.

2) Sneakbox Pale Ale, 5.4%
This American Pale Ale uses exclusively Citra hops for intense flavor and aromatic of citrus and tropical fruit. A clean, uncomplicated malt bill and a dry finish make for great drinkability.

3) Overhead – Imperial IPA, 8.2%
Overhead is an American-style Imperial IPA. This beer is loaded with our favorite hops; Amarillo, Columbus, Centennial and Simcoe. It’s bittered with a gigantic charge of Columbus and Simcoe early in the kettle that is followed by several rounds of late kettle and whirlpool hops using Amarillo, Centennial and Simcoe. In the end, Overhead is brewed with over 5 pounds of hops per barrel which includes two rounds of dry hopping to create a cascade of pine, resin and citrus hop flavors that consume your palate. Although we brew Overhead with the same imported Pilsner and light crystal malts as Head High and ferment it with our house ale strain to produce a dry crisp finish, this blend of different hops creates an entirely new experience all its own.

4) Party Wave – IPA, 7.4%
IPA brewed with Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy, and Simcoe.

5) Shifting Squall – Hoppy Stout, 9%
Shifting Squall was brewed with a base of British Golden Promise with a blend of wheat, oats, light crystal, chocolate malts, and roasted barley. We then hopped it with Cascade, Bravo, and Chinook in the whirlpool. The citrus, pine and resinous character from the hops adds depth and complexity to create a delicious hoppy, imperial stout.

6) Coolship 11 – Pale Lager, 4.3% Collaboration with Wild East Brewing
Czech-style Pale Lager, brewed in collaboration with Wild East Brewing.

7) Morning Mocha – Imperial Porter, 9.2%
9.2% Imperial Milk Porter brewed with a pilsner base and a blend of British and German crystal and roast malts, lightly sweetened with the addition of milk sugar.
Morning Mocha is conditioned on dark roast coffee and a blend of cocoa nibs from various growing regions around the world.
Morning Mocha pours a mocha brown with aromatics of fudgy sweet chocolate and cold brewed coffee. Flavors of brownies, maple syrup are supported by a nutty chocolate profile.

😎 Blue Ramp IPA, 7.4%

9) Mexican Brunch – Imperial Coffee Porter, 9.2%
Imperial Milk Porter with Coffee, Maple, Cinnamon, Cacao, and Chilies

10) A Night To End All Dawns: Banana Pancake – Imperial Stout, 12.7%

11) Pipeline – Triple IPA, 10%
Collaboration w/ Twin Elephant Brewing Company
We have a series of triple IPAs that pay homage to music venues of the past that we used to frequent. These spots hosted legendary shows with incredible people and extraordinary musicians. They were special places for us and many of you we’re sure.
This TIPA iteration is for “The Pipeline” formerly in Newark, NJ. IYKYK….the beer has a stark straw yellow opaqueness to the eye with slight floral, hay and mixed berry aromas and on the palate notes of sweet melon & berry, underlying slight finger lime zest citrus and finishes with a combination of two-stepping, windmilling, picking up change, skanking, roundhousing, circle pits and walls of death.

Stop in for a beer or two.

Parking lot on Doty rd.
