Dogfish Head, brewed in Milton, Delaware, opened in 1995 and has rapidly grown since then. Today, they are known for their ‘extreme’ beers, using non-standard ingredients such as raisins, and for reaching high alcohol levels, reaching 18-20%. Most recently,
Dogfish Head Beers was awarded two 2010 Bev Star Awards from Beverage World Magazine.
